Sutter Coast Hospital is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and relocation assistance for an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse. Join our team in beautiful Crescent City and provide direct, high-quality nursing care to patients throughout the birthing process. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients of all ages, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and utilize advanced fetal monitoring to ensure maternal and neonatal well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and assist physicians during procedures.
• Educate and support patients and their families through the birthing experience.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in a fast-paced and often stressful environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a Labor & Delivery setting. (1 year of experience required for bonus eligibility).
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of California.
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and a Fetal Monitoring Certificate.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
