Memorial Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our specialized cardiac procedure team, with a potential sign-on bonus available. You will be accountable for the assessment, coordination, and delivery of expert nursing care for patients undergoing heart procedures. This role requires delivering holistic, individualized care and fostering collaborative relationships to ensure an optimal patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac procedures.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including cardiovascular and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and the interventional team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, procedures, and post-procedural care.
• Administer medications, including conscious sedation and cardiac drips, as per protocol.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, industry standards, and best practices for cardiovascular care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of California.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant nursing experience.
• Direct experience with heart procedures is required.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong skills in cardiac assessment, EKG interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring.
