The Advanced Practice Nurse Educator (APNE) for the Transitional Care Units, Low Intensity Rehab, and Complex Continuing Care (CCC) programs at the Toronto Rehab Bickle Centre is an integral member of the interdisciplinary leadership team within the Collaborative Academic Practice portfolio. Reporting to the Manager, Professional Practice, the APNE develops and sustains an academic practice environment, collaborating with unit managers, educators, and stakeholders to support clinical care projects, promote professional development, and contribute to scholarship, inquiry, and research. This role focuses on designing and delivering education, mentoring nurses, and leading quality improvement initiatives to advance best practices at the point of care.
