American Hospital is looking for a proactive and dedicated Staff Nurse for our Urgent Care satellite clinic in Dubai Hills Mall. You will provide direct, patient-centered care to a diverse population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role requires strong clinical skills to manage urgent care cases, coordinate patient activities, and ensure a seamless patient experience from assessment to discharge.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform age-specific patient assessments and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create and execute care plans.
• Identify and respond effectively to urgent and emergency situations.
• Provide nursing care before and after procedures, ensuring consultation rooms are stocked and clean.
• Coordinate patient appointments, follow up on diagnostic test results, and communicate with patients regarding their treatment plans.
• Manage all Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tasks and follow up with insurance coordinators for necessary approvals.
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff in compliance with JCIA standards.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and maintain professional competency through ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (minimum 3-year full-time course duration).
• Minimum of two (2) years of recent post-graduate nursing experience.
• Must hold a valid license/registration to practice in your home country and/or country of last employment.
• A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is essential.
• Strong skills in patient assessment, care coordination, and prioritization.
• Ability to render care based on the age, appropriateness, and developmental needs of diverse patient populations.
