NMC Hospital, Deira is hiring a Specialist Endocrinologist to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centred endocrine care across outpatient and inpatient settings, including emergency on‑call coverage, procedures, and multidisciplinary collaboration, while adhering to DHA regulations, JCI standards, and clinical governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional duties per delineated privileges as approved by the Credentials Committee.
• Evaluate and manage patients with hormonal and endocrine diseases in the Endocrinology department.
• Provide after‑hours on‑call emergency coverage for endocrinology emergencies.
• Perform endocrinology procedures, including dynamic hormonal testing in appropriate patients.
• Provide consultation and referral services to inpatient teams within area of expertise.
• Partner with patients from initial consultation through diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow‑up.
• Supervise and educate staff nurses, technicians, and patients.
• Participate in quality assurance activities (e.g., M&M, peer review, audits, chart reviews); oversee and engage in QA programs as requested by the Quality Office.
• Prepare and submit schedules to the Medical Administrator for approval (daily, weekends, ER on‑call, leave, and vacations).
• Follow international guidelines, DHA regulations, and Joint Commission International norms in all clinical duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved medical school plus 1‑year rotating internship (or equivalent).
• 3 years of Internal Medicine residency.
• 3 years of recognized Endocrinology residency training.
• Current licensure in country of origin and DHA license to practice as a Specialist Endocrinologist in Dubai, UAE.
• Minimum 3 years’ practice in Endocrinology (hormonal diseases).
• Thorough knowledge of medical ethics and strict confidentiality; adherence to organizational bylaws and regulations; trustworthy, patient‑focused demeanor.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic desirable; strong interpersonal skills.
