American Hospital Dubai is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Staff Nurse to lead the daily clinical operations of our Internal Medicine Outpatient (OPD) Clinic. This leadership role involves functioning as a primary resource for nursing staff, coordinating the day-to-day running of the unit, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff, acting as a primary resource for assistance.
• Manage the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring smooth patient flow and timely discharges.
• Assist staff nurses in planning, implementing, and evaluating direct patient care.
• Oversee and maintain clinic-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), audits, and quality checklists.
• Ensure accurate nursing documentation and manage patient complaints and satisfaction reporting.
• Perform specialized nursing interventions, including 6-minute walk tests and bedside spirometry.
• Maintain effective communication between patients, nurses, and physicians regarding care plans and follow-up instructions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (minimum 3-year full-time course duration).
• Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of recent post-graduate experience in Internal Medicine Nursing.
• Previous experience as a Team Leader or Senior Registered Nurse is a significant advantage.
• Must hold a valid license/registration to practice in your home country and/or country of last employment.
• A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and strong abilities in patient assessment, care coordination, and prioritization.
