American Hospital Dubai is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (Western Trained) to join our team. You will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, establishing goals, and implementing care plans to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability. This role involves collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to promote patient wellness and develop fitness-oriented programs for a healthier lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial comprehensive patient assessments, follow-up assessments, and re-assessments in line with APTA standards.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using various therapeutic techniques and modalities (e.g., Manual Therapy, Therapeutic Exercises, TENS, Ultrasound).
• Select and utilize appropriate measurement tools (ROM, MMT) to assess patient status and progress.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to discuss patient goals and optimize care plans.
• Provide clinical and technical education to patients, families, and other medical staff.
• Ensure full compliance with all hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and infection control standards.
• Participate in the department's Quality Improvement activities and maintain the safety and availability of all physiotherapy equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy or Physical Therapy from a Western-accredited institution.
• Minimum of two (2) years of post-certification experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Must hold a current license to practice in your country of origin and be eligible for/hold a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong clinical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
