NMC Royal Hospital, Khalifa City is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to support the administrative and operational functions of the pharmacy. This role focuses on clerical tasks, inventory coordination, customer service, data entry, and regulatory compliance to ensure the pharmacy runs efficiently—without direct involvement in patient care or medication dispensing.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Duties: Create and maintain patient records, handle correspondence, and organize documentation.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of medicines and supplies, place orders as needed, and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Customer Service: Assist customers with general inquiries, direct medication-specific questions to the pharmacist, and manage point-of-sale transactions.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately input prescription data into the pharmacy system and maintain up-to-date records for audit and compliance.
- Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH) regulations and assist with preparing required reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or related field is an advantage.
- Previous administrative experience, ideally within a healthcare or pharmacy setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
