NMC Specialty Hospital in Al Ain is seeking a dedicated and DOH-licensed Occupational Therapist (UAE National) to join our allied health team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing functional independence and quality of life for individuals with physical, developmental, emotional, or cognitive limitations. You will play a vital role in helping patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and rehabilitate patients to help them develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work-related skills.
• Work to restore and compensate for motor, cognitive, or sensory dysfunctions.
• Utilize client-centered approaches to enhance patient participation in meaningful activities.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, assistive devices, and environmental modifications to remove barriers.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care outcomes.
• Provide services independently in alignment with your DOH license and evidence-based best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed healthcare professional (Occupational Therapist).
• Currently licensed in country of origin and holds a valid DOH license to practice in the UAE.
• Services will be provided based on specific experience and educational qualifications to practice safely and effectively.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Arabic language proficiency is mandatory.
