American Hospital Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced ER Physician at the Consultant level to join our distinguished medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing the highest standard of immediate medical care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries, leading the clinical team, and upholding our commitment to excellence in a state-of-the-art emergency department.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical leadership and direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Diagnose and treat a diverse range of urgent and life-threatening conditions with speed and precision.
• Make critical, time-sensitive decisions regarding patient treatment, admission, and transfer.
• Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and other medical staff.
• Collaborate with other specialists and departments to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Uphold and promote clinical best practices, patient safety protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a North American Board Certification or an equivalent Western Board Certification in Emergency Medicine.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-Board experience as a Consultant or attending physician is required.
• Experience must be from a recognized Western healthcare facility.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in a busy emergency department setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
