General Practitioner in Oncology (GPO)

📍 Position Overview

• Flexible part-time or full-time position (FTE flexible)
• Work collaboratively with medical oncologists, nurses, and support staff
• Offers ambulatory oncology care and inpatient care support
• No on-call duties required

📍 Work Environment

• Based at the Surrey Centre, which provides:

• Located 30 km from Vancouver, offering excellent Pacific West Coast lifestyle options

📍 Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensed (or eligible) Family Physician in British Columbia
• Eligible for an appointment with BC Cancer and Surrey Memorial Hospital
• Inpatient or oncology experience preferred (but not mandatory)
• Suitable for UBC faculty appointment
• Commitment to cultural safety, reconciliation, anti-racism, and health equity
