Family Physician – Multiple Locations (Urban, Rural, Remote) | Flexible Schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather medical histories from patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose diseases and injuries
• Guide patients in developing healthy habits and wellness strategies
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to assess and manage patient care
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
• Provide immunizations and vaccinations
• Advise patients on preventive healthcare and lifestyle choices
• Report births, deaths, and communicable diseases to authorities as required
• Advocate for patients and coordinate primary care

• Offer counseling and support to patients and their families on health and lifestyle issues
   

  Qualifications:

• Degree in Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, or Optometry
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
• Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) by provincial or territorial authorities

• Experience is an asset, but not required
   

  Work Environment:

Work locations vary; frequent travel may be required
