Consultant – Endocrinologist - Dubai, UAE

📋 Full Job Description:

🔍 Position Overview:

• Full-time hospital-based position in the Endocrinology Department
• Managing a wide range of adult hormonal disorders with a patient-centered, protocol-driven approach

🩺 Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat endocrine system disorders including:

Diabetes mellitus (Type 1 & 2), thyroid diseases, adrenal and pituitary disorders, PCOS, obesity, osteoporosis

Interpret hormone function tests and imaging related to metabolic conditions

Collaborate with other specialists and teams (e.g., cardiologists, nephrologists, gynecologists, nutritionists)

Provide long-term care and education for chronic metabolic conditions like diabetes

Participate in clinical audits, continuing medical education (CME), research, and hospital policies

Keep detailed and compliant patient records aligned with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) requirements

🎓 Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Endocrinology (American Board, MRCP, FRCP, Canadian, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of post-specialty work experience
• Western-trained candidates only (U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Europe)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Eligibility or licensure with DHA (Dubai Health Authority)
